This policy explains which information stays on your device, which information is sent to our services, and how you can manage it.
Your readings and account
When signed out, questionnaire answers, birth details and results are stored in this browser. When signed in, account answers, birth details, results and other saved records sync through Cloudflare D1 so they can be restored on another device. If devices both submit edits, the submission accepted later by the server replaces the earlier one. Avoid leaving another person’s records on a shared device.
Sign-in, images and necessary services
Accounts use a username, a salted password hash and a session cookie lasting approximately 30 days. Passwords are not stored as plain text. If you use optional mood image features, submitted descriptions, reference images and generated images are processed by the relevant Cloudflare services and may be saved in your private account gallery. Browser preferences, drafts and login state support the service. The separate anonymous participant distribution uses a browser cookie and de-identified result categories, rather than raw birth details or questionnaire answers.
Optional product analytics
Only after you allow it, the site sends its own analytics endpoint events for visits, calculation starts, completions, input failures, portrait creation and download clicks. Dimensions are limited to module, language, broad source category, device category, entry page, country or region code, and outcome. We do not send account identifiers, raw URLs, birth details, answers or image content in these events. The server stores daily aggregate counts in UTC. Aggregates older than 90 days are removed on subsequent writes. A temporary abuse guard uses IP addresses in server memory for rate limiting; these are not written to the analytics database.
Your choice and repeat use
You can allow or decline product analytics at any time using Analytics settings in the footer. Declining stops new product events and removes local repeat-use dates. The choice stays in your browser for up to 180 days. When allowed, the browser keeps only each module’s latest completion date to count completions on later days, without sending a visitor identifier. These are event counts, not unique people or a measured user-retention rate. Withdrawal cannot remove your portion from aggregates that no longer distinguish people. This setting does not control Cloudflare hosting, security logs, or separate site traffic analytics where enabled.
Advertising and third parties
Ad placements are not enabled in this version. If Google AdSense is enabled later, Google and other third-party ad vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on earlier visits to this and other websites. Google advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to provide personalized ads. You can manage personalization in Google Ads Settings and opt out of some other vendors through aboutads.info. Any advertising consent required for your region must be handled separately before ads load; the product analytics choice is not advertising consent.
Retention, deletion and requests
Account records remain while you use the account until you clear or delete them. You can delete your account and its active data through the account interface; signing out does not delete cloud records. Guests can clear records in the site or remove browser storage. Provider backups and security logs may follow separate retention arrangements, so we do not promise immediate removal from all backups. Contact the address below for help accessing, correcting or deleting information. Do not send your password by email.
Providers and changes
We use Cloudflare for hosting, databases and related processing. Google processes advertising data only when the related advertising features are enabled. Providers may process data in facilities in different countries or regions. Network requests necessarily expose connection information such as IP addresses to service providers. We update this page to reflect product changes and show the revision date.
